9/1/15 - 6:00pm: Theft of bicycle from MCE bldg bike racks at VC. Victim came to Campus Police to report unknown person(s) used unknown object to cut victim's bike lock and take his bicycle. No witnesses or suspects; report V15-142 taken.
9/3/15 - 10:00 am: Altercation between opposing soccer players at OC. Event Supervisor came to Campus Police to report that on 8/30/15, at approximately 2:00 pm, a foul occurred that caused two players to kick, strike and push each other, leading other team members to join in the fray. Referees managed to stop the fight after about five minutes; the game was stopped after that. No emergency medical services were necessary. Report X15-075 taken.
9/3/15 - 12:30 pm: Theft of vehicle from MC parking structure. Victim came to MC Campus Police to report unknown person took her car keys from her backpack while it was in the women's locker room, unattended. Nothing else was taken. MC Campus Police reviewed surveillance tapes and identified suspect as she drove victim's car out of the parking structure; they notified VC Campus Police of the situation. VCPD officers were able to find the suspect and recover the vehicle. During interview, it was revealed that suspect was on probation for burglary. Suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to County Main Jail, where she was booked without further incident. Report M15-084 taken.
9/3/15 - 2:30pm: Hit & run (misdemeanor) at MC C-lot. Victim came to Campus Police to report unknown vehicle struck his vehicle and fled without leaving a note or driver information. No suspects or witnesses; report M15-083 taken.
9/6/15 - 2:55pm: Theft of cell phone from ladies' room at OC gym. Victim came to Campus Police to report that she had inadvertently left her cell phone in the restroom; upon her return, it was gone. No suspects or witnesses; report X15-077 taken.
9/8/15 - 11:30am: Trespasser on High School at Moorpark College grounds. Officer responded to report of trespasser on campus. Upon arrival, it was determined that a female juvenile was visiting her boyfriend. The juvenile was contacted and advised not to return to campus; if she did, she would be arrested for trespass. Report M15-085 taken.
9/9/15 - 2:00pm: Theft from vehicle parked in D-lot at MC. Victim came to Campus Police to report unknown person(s) were able to force vehicle driver side window down enough to reach in and steal her parking permit. No suspects or witnesses; report M15-087 taken.
9/9/15 - 3:30pm: Theft from athletic training room at VC. Employee reported theft of equipment. No suspects or witnesses; report V15-144 taken.
9/9/15 - 5:00pm: Subject under the influence at VC. Officer was on patrol when he noticed suspicious vehicle parked on Loma Vista Road. Upon contact with vehicle owner, subject admitted to being on probation. A search of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia; subject was exhibiting symptoms of being under the influence. Officers conducted tests and cited and released subject for being under the influence. Report V15-145 taken.
9/9/15 - 6:00pm: Graffiti report at MC. Officer responded to report of graffiti written on desk in classroom in HSS bldg. No witnesses or suspects; report M15-088 taken.
9/10/15 - 1:25pm: Disturbance of the peace at VC. Officer received call of subject with offensive T-shirt on campus. Since subject was not a student, he was asked to leave. Report V15-146 taken.
9/10/15 - 6:00pm: Hit and run (misdemeanor) at VC W-lot. Victim came to Campus Police to report unknown vehicle struck his vehicle and fled, leaving no note or information. No witnesses or suspects; report V15-148 taken.
9/15/15 - 12:15pm: Petty theft from vehicle in W-lot at VC. Officer took report from victim that unknown person(s) had entered his car without permission and took his property. No witnesses or suspects; report V15-151 taken.
9/16/15 - 10:40am: Late report of sexual assault through MC Campus Police. Supervisor received a report from Student Health Center that victim disclosed she had been the victim of a sexual assault off campus in April. Courtesy report M15-092 taken for Simi Valley Police Department; investigation continues.
9/16/15 - 2:10pm: Late registration of sex offender at VC. Officer was contacted to register sex offender. As it was the twenty-third day of school, he asked the subject why he was late in registering. The subject replied he didn't know he was supposed to register within 5 days. After going over the paperwork with the subject, officer cited and released subject for failure to register in a timely manner; report V15-156 taken.
9/21/15 - 9:15am: Vandalism to vehicle parked on Telegraph Road near VC. Vehicle's windshield was shattered by unknown means. No witnesses or suspects; report V15-157 taken.
9/25/15 - 12:00pm: Sexual battery at El Camino High School at VC. Officer responded to report of juvenile who committed sexual battery on other student, which was committed on 9/24/15 at approximately 2:00pm. Report in progress.
9/26/15 - 12:20pm: Theft from vehicle at VC Marketplace. Victim reported she had secured belongings in her vehicle, then locked it. Upon her return, she found unknown person(s) had gained access to her vehicle by unknown means and taken her property without permission. Investigation continues; report in progress.
