The VCCCD Police Department strives to employ courageous men and women who have a passion for community engagement, problem solving, and law enforcement. We value protecting the campus community through proactive policing, fostering dignity and respect in all interactions, developing community-oriented partnerships to resolve issues and problems, and endorsing the Police Officers' Code of Ethics. We employ sworn peace officers with full arrest authority, police officer trainees (when vacancies occur), as well as civilian members who support our staff in a variety of duties.
