8/01/11 - 9:10 pm: Skateboarders at VC. Officer observed subjects skateboarding on campus and jumping onto benches; he attempted to contact them, but the subjects ran. Report taken.
8/04/11 - 11:30 am: Petty theft at VC. Victim reported that he had placed property inside locker in the fitness center. When he returned, his property had been taken from the unlocked locker. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/07/11 - 10:00 am: Vandalism to vehicle parked in D-lot at OC. Victim reported that he left his vehicle parked in D-lot, and returned approximately 3 hours later to find multiple scratch marks on the driver side front and rear doors. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/18/11 - 8:40 am: Exhibition of speed at MC. Officers observed subject doing burn-outs in the Lower G parking lot at MC. Officer interviewed subject, who at first denied, but upon being shown the tread marks, acknowledged his actions. Subject cited and released. Report taken.
8/17/11 - 7:20 am: Vandalism to company vehicle parked in D-lot at OC. Unknown suspect(s) used unknown object to puncture front and rear side drivers' tires. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/21/11 - 3:30 pm: Petty theft at OC Swap Meet. Officer responded to report of suspects being detained by vendor in F Lot. Vendor told officer that he had observed the suspects first take a bicycle tire from his vending stand. He confronted suspects, who dropped the tire and walked away. Vendor followed suspects and reported he saw them take sodas from a catering truck and a video game from a vendor's table. Officer interviewed and advised the individuals, who denied taking anything. All victims stated they did not want to press charges, but requested that subjects be prohibited from returning to the swap meet. Suspects were so notified and released. Report taken.
8/22/11 - 3:00 pm: Disturbance by individual outside of classroom. Officer responded to complaint of subject playing vulgar music loudly on a guitar and harassing female students in the area. Officer made contact with the subject, who was uncooperative and incoherent; at one point he stated he was on medication for mental issues. Suspect was transported to local hospital without further incident. Report taken.
8/22/11 - 9:30 pm: Vandalism in men's restroom in LRC bldg at VC. Officer responded to report of a swastika carved in the wall of one of the men's restrooms. Officer found that unknown person used unknown sharp object to carve the shape into the drywall. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/23/11 - 10:00 am: Terrorist threats against VC staff members. Student called an office at VC and began cursing, then stated he was going to bring a bomb to the department and blow it up. Officers were advised, and investigation continues. Report taken.
8/23/11 - 2:45 pm: Theft of bike from rack next to Sci-bldg at VC. Victim reported parking and locking his bicycle in the rack. When he returned, he discovered his bike was missing. He found his helmet and broken chain in some bushes. Report taken.
8/26/11 - 8:30 am: Petty theft from Library at VC. Victim reported he left his personal property on a desk when he got up to use a reference computer approximately 20 feet from his location. He was away from his desk for only a few minutes, but when he returned, his property had been taken without his permission. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/26/11 - 11:30 am: Graffiti at MC. Officers responded to custodian's report of graffiti found in men's room of AC bldg at MC. Unknown suspect(s) used pink marker to write '2SW KONG' inside stalls and on urinal divider. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/26/11 - 2:15 pm: Suspicious subject on campus. Officer made contact with homeless individual, who was belligerent at being questioned. Officer advised subject he could not sleep on campus or make it his home. Subject left campus without further incident. Report taken.
8/26/11 - 5:30 pm: Theft from vehicle at OC. Victim reported returning to her vehicle to find unknown suspect(s) had removed her car stereo and speakers. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/29/11 - 4:30 pm: Theft of monitor from classroom at OC. Employee reported to Campus Police that a 17" monitor had been taken from a classroom. No signs of forced entry; no witnesses or suspects. Report taken.
8/30/11 - 3:00 pm: Theft from weight training room at OC. Victim reported leaving wallet in the weight training room; when she returned the next day, wallet was gone. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
8/31/11 - 10:40 am: Theft of cell phone from LLR bldg at MC. Victim reported she had gone to request help to operate copy machine, and upon her return, found that unknown suspect(s) had taken her cell phone. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
