Course Description
This course is an introduction to psychology, which is the study of the mind and behavior. Students focus on theories and concepts of biological, cognitive, developmental, environmental, social, and cultural influences; their applications; and their research foundations. Course Credit Limitations: Credit will not be awarded for both the honors and regular versions of a course. Credit will be awarded only for the first course completed with a grade of "C" or better or "P". Moorpark College Honors Program requires a letter grade. Recommended Prep: ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000H. Introduces the art form of cinema. Includes topics such as a brief history of the movies, modes of production, form, style, genre, aesthetics, media industries, critical analysis, and socio-cultural and historical importance.
