2/1/12 - 1:15 pm: Possible stalking at VC. Victim came to Campus Police to report a student in her class has been following her to her car, has been seen waiting at her car and following her car in his truck. Officer advised they would contact suspect and tell him to leave her alone; also, if victim is approached by suspect, to contact Campus Police immediately. Report taken.

2/1/12 - 5:00 pm: Grafitti on vending machine at VC. Unknown suspect(s) used silver-tip marker to write letters on vending machine in AEC bldg. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

2/2/12 - 10:00 am: Unlawful weapons at MC. Officers responded to report of subject with several knives in dining room. Upon contact with subject, he was informed that 2 of the knives were illegal and the knives were confiscated. Report taken.

2/2/12 - 4:00 pm: Theft from purse at VC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report theft of her wallet from her purse. No suspects or witnesses; report taken. 

2/2/12 - 4:25 pm: Misuse of handicapped placard in G lot at MC. Officers observed two subjects park and exit a truck and hang a placard from the rear view mirror. When asked for documentation proving the placard was his, the driver was unable to do so and was cited for misuse of a handicapped placard. Report taken.

2/4/12 - 8:50 am: Vandalism to classroom in LMC bldg at MC. Employee reported to Campus Police that unknown person(s) used unknown tool to break a window in a door to a classroom. Upon investigation, it appeared that nothing had been taken from the classroom. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

2/5/12 - 12:15 pm: Petty theft from VC Marketplace. Victim reported to Campus Police that he had paid for an item from a vendor, telling the vendor he wanted to continue shopping and would return within the hour to pick up the item. Upon his return, vendor and items were gone. Investigation continues. Report taken.

2/6/12 - 1:20 pm: Petty theft from vehicle parked on Rose Avenue at OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report that unknown person took property from her vehicle without permission. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

 2/6/12 - 5:45 pm: Theft of bicycle from bike rack at OC. Victim came to Campus Police station to report that unknown person took her bike from the rack located on the east side of the Library. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

2/7/12 - 6:45 pm: Hit & run (misdemeanor) in E-lot at OC. Victim came to Campus Police to report unknown vehicle struck her vehicle and fled without leaving insurance information as required. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

2/8/12 - 6:45 pm: Injury to student in welding class at VC. Victim was attempting to open a container of welding rods when lid slipped and sliced open left palm. A pressure bandage was applied and victim was transported by AMR to hospital for further treatment. Report taken.

2/9/12 - 8:20 am: Arrest at OC. Police responded to report of couple quarreling. Suspect struck victim in the face and was subsequently arrested by officers and transported to County Main Jail, where he was booked without further incident. Report taken.

2/9/12 - 1:30 pm: Petty theft from Communications bldg at MC. Victim came to Campus Police to report she had left property in hallway of bldg; when she returned, her backpack was gone. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

2/13/12 - 8:00 am: Petty theft from E-lot at VC. Victim reported that as he was walking to class from E-lot, bicyclist cut in front of him and subject brushed up against him. He looked around but did not recognize anyone. Afterward, when he went to pay for some copies in the Library, he realized his wallet was gone. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

2/13/12 - 9:15 am: Report of petty theft from vehicle. Victim hailed officer to report her wallet had been stolen from off-campus site. Report taken.

2/14/12 - 8:00 am: Hit & run (misdemeanor) in C-lot at MC. Victim came to Campus Police to report he had parked in C-lot and gone to class; when he returned to his vehicle, he drove straight home, where he discovered a dent and moderate damage to driver's side rear fender. No notes or insurance information left on vehicle; no witnesses or suspects. Report taken.

2/15/12 - 8:50 pm: Theft from locker in men's locker room at VC men's gym. Victim reported that he left his property secured in a locker and upon his return, found the lock gone and the locker door bent. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

2/16/12 - 2:00 pm: Arrest at MC. Officer responded to report that a subject was ill in men's room. Officer found subject sitting on the floor inside a stall. Upon making contact with subject, officer found what appeared to be drug paraphernalia on the ground next to subject. Subject was ordered out of the stall, when he broke and ran. Officers apprehended subject and found more paraphernalia during search. Subject was subsequently arrested and transported to County Main Jail, where he was booked without further incident. 2/18/12 - 10:30 am: Theft from VC Marketplace. Vendor flagged down officer during patrol and reported unknown person(s) took undisclosed amount of money from him while his back was turned. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

2/22/12 - 3:30 pm: Theft from class at VC. Victim reported to Campus Police that unknown person(s) had taken his backpack while he stepped out of class briefly. During the report, an employee called to advise the backpack had been found, but property was missing from it. No suspects or witnesses; investigation continues. Report taken.

2/22/12 - 5:00 pm: Battery in women's restroom in LMC bldg at MC. Victim came to Campus Police to report that an unknown female in the women's restroom made a derogatory comment and then pushed her. Investigation continues; report taken.

2/23/12 - 4:10 pm: Theft from class at MC. Instructor contacted Campus Police to report that a student reported that personal property had been taken from her purse while she was in the dark room. No suspects or witnesses; investigation continues. Report taken.

2/27/12 - 3:00 pm: Annoying messages at MC. Victim came to Campus Police to report receiving unwanted text messages from another student. The messages were graphic in nature. Officers contacted subject and advised him to leave victim alone. Report taken.

2/28/12 - 11:00 am: vandalism to vehicle in overflow lot at MC. Unknown vehicle was doing 'burn-outs' in dirt overflow lot, causing kicked-up rocks to flly and shatter a vehicle's window. Investigation continues; report taken.
