12/3/12 - 7:30 pm: Theft of bicycle from OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report unknown person(s) took his bicycle. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

12/4/12 - 9:00 am: Report of annoying text messages at MC. Victim reported to Campus Police that he was receiving multiple annoying messages over a couple of months from a female, even though he asked her to stop on several occasions. Report taken.

12/5/12 - 11:15 am: Late report of possible harrassment/annoyance at MC. Three subjects came to Campus Police Station to report a suspicious person sitting in a vehicle in the dirt overflow lot who would watch them as they make their way to and from their vehicle. They reported seeing the subject numerous times during the last few months and wanted documentation. Report taken.

12/5/12 - 1:00 pm: Warrant arrest at VC. Officer responded to report of subject who was acting drunk and disturbing the peace near the smoking area between the MCW and MCE buildings. Officer contacted subject, who appeared intoxicated and smelled strongly of alcohol. When the officer contacted Dispatch, they advised subject had 2 warrants. Officer subsequently arrested suspect, who was taken to County Main Jail and booked without further incident.

12/6/12 - 5:30 pm: Theft from backpack at OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report unknown person(s) took her wallet from her backpack while she was working. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

12/10/12 - 12:00 pm: Theft from vehicle at OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report unknown person(s) smashed the rear passenger window of her vehicle and took property. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

12/10/12 - 1:30 pm: Assault near VC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report that as he was walking to a restaurant near VC, he was accosted by 2 males who yelled obscenities at him and shoved him. A friend talked the victim into coming to Campus Police to report the assault and file a report. Report taken.

12/10/12 - 2:00 pm: Threats made at VC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report he had been threatened with bodily harm by a former acquaintance. Report taken. 

12/11/12 - 10:30 am: Theft of a wallet from County Bldg at OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report her wallet had been taken by unknown person(s). No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

12/12/12 - 11:30 am: Sale of controlled substance in smoking area at VC. Officers observed suspect placing substance into a pipe and lighting it, then passing it around to various subjects. Upon contact with individuals, officers detected strong aroma of burnt marijuana. One suspect was cited and released for possession of marijuana; one suspect was cited and released for possession of marijuana and for giving/furnishing marijuana to others. Both were told not to return to campus until they had met with the Dean of Student Discipline. Report taken.

12/14/12 - 5:30 pm: Hit & run (misdemeanor) at MC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report unknown vehicle struck her vehicle and fled, leaving no note or insurance information. Report taken.

12/15/12 - 3:00 pm: Theft from vendor at VC Marketplace. Officer met with Swap Meet Manager, who reported 3 unknown subjects were suspected of taking 15 pairs of jeans from a vendor while vendor was trying to find them a pair in a certain size. No witnesses; report taken.

12/17/12 - 3:30 pm: Late report of identity theft/financial aid fraud at OC. Officer responded to report from Financial Aid office of financial aid fraud. Upon arriving at the office, the officer interviewed victim, who denied ever applying for federal financial aid, yet someone had received funds in his name. Investigation continues; report taken.

12/18/12 - 4:00 pm: Distruptive student at OC Financial Aid office had warrant for his arrest. Officer responded to report of disruptive individual at the OC FAO. Upon contact with the subject, he was cooperative and stated he had gotten upset; however, when officer ran the subject's information through Dispatch, officer was advised of a mandatory warrant for subject, who was subsequently arrested and transported to County Main Jail without further incident.
