Email

The Office of Information Technology at the District Administration Center administers the vcccd.edu email system. Access to the email system is supported by information technology via Outlook client and Outlook Web Access.  E-mail accounts are setup for all employees of the VCCCD. Student employees must have their supervisor request an account with the IT department.

Outlook 2007

Outlook 2007 software is provided to campus faculty/staff with District provided computers.  Help is provided within the software.  Here are additional resources for frequent questions.

Outlook Web Access (OWA)

Outlook Web Access (OWA) is the web interface into the District provided email.  All employees should access OWA via MyVCCCD.  Login to MyVCCCD and click on the Outlook icon.

• Outlook Web Access Quick Reference (PDF)
• Turn Off OWA Lite for Internet Explorer
  Stop OWA from running in "lite" mode in Internet Explorer.
• Alternate Login - outlook.vcccd.edu
  Use this in the event MyVCCCD is not available.

Other means of accessing the Exchange mail server are available however not supported by the information technology staff.

Lotus Notes Email

Email via Lotus Notes is no longer available. All email access is now via Outlook or Outlook Web Access.
