Melissa is a former student of Moorpark College, where she graduated in 2010 with three Theater Arts Degrees in Technical Theatre, Directing, and Acting. She later earned her BA in Theater Arts from CSUN. In addition to her work at the college, Melissa also works as a theatre technician at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks. She also freelances for local community groups throughout the year.

C. Steven Joiner earned his PhD in chemistry from UCLA in 2007 under the supervision of Nobel Laureate Sir Fraser Stoddart.  His research was focused on the template-directed organic synthesis of molecules containing mechanical bonds.  He has been a professor of chemistry at Moorpark College since 2007 where he has taught introductory, general, and organic chemistry to more than 1000 undergraduate students.  He has a wife and three children.

His office hours for the current term are posted outside of his office.
