

Brian Koehler

Brian is a Scenic Designer and Technical Director with about 19 years of professional experience, having worked in most areas of theatrical design, production, and tech. He is an artist and technician, interested in the collaborative art form that is live theatre, and how he can help all productions, and the people involved, thrive.
Some of his credits include over four dozen professional Theatrical scenic designs, numerous prop designs, lighting designs for multiple Theatrical and Dance productions, and a long list of Technical Direction in Theatre, Dance, and Music. He is also a published illustrator.
Brian has a particular passion for educational theatre and has been teaching at Moorpark College since August of 2011. He teaches classes in Scenic Design and Technical Production, takes on interns in areas of theatrical design and production, and works with students in the Scene Shop building and painting scenery, creating props, and doing general production work with a focus on scenery.

Rosa Sanchez
Rosa Sanchez received her B.A in Sociology and a minor in Family Studies at California State University, Northridge. Now she holds a M.S in Counseling and College Student Personnel from California Lutheran University. She prides herself in understanding the systemic barriers first-generation and underrepresented students experience. Due to her own lived experiences as a first-generation Latina college student and former foster youth, she grounds her work around equity and student success. Her goal is to empower all students to reach self-actualization by achieving their academic goals.
