Engineering

The engineering discipline offers many career opportunities that include civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering. Each in turn is further divided into several sub-disciplines.  As engineering disciplines and subdisciplines overlap, even more specialized fields of study emerge such as mechatronics, biological engineering, energy engineering, industrial engineering, nanoengineering, and more.
Engineers are significant and valuable members of our society that are relied upon to generally produce solutions through the utilization, design, and development of a plethora of technologies. With the increasingly high demand for qualified engineers in the workforce, this program allows those in the local community the opportunity to fill a vital role.
Engineering is the practical application of science and mathematics. Students completing the program will identify and solve a wide range of problems, applying techniques, skills and modern engineering tools. Students will conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate results.
