About

Hello! I have been teaching composition and literature courses for over 25years, and I have been teaching at Moorpark Community College as English faculty and Writing Center Co-Coordinator for many of those years.  I have an English B.A. with a minor in International Relations and Journalism from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and an MA in Rhetoric and Composition from California State University, Northridge.  I am currently working on my doctorate in Education, with a research focus on tutoring in the community college.

In 2018 I participated in Moorpark College Educational Travel program, taking MC students to Edinburgh, London and Dublin. I hope we can begin to think about complementing our study with travel soon! It was a wonderful experience! Besides traveling, I also enjoy hiking, reading and spending time with my family and friends.
