OC LIVE Presents “Here Comes the General!”
OC LIVE and the Los Angeles Army Recruiting Battalion invite you to join us for a special evening with guest speaker Brigadier General (BG) Aida T. Borras. As one of the highest ranking Latina generals in the U.S. Army, BG Borras will share her unique journey and the valuable lessons she has learned along the way. She will discuss the benefits and opportunities that her service in the Army has afforded her. Following her talk, BG Borras will be available to take questions.
BG Borras has had an illustrious career in the U.S. Army, holding numerous positions including Commanding General at the Military Intelligence Readiness Command in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and is currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff in the Intelligence Office, G2, in Washington, D.C.
This free event is open to everyone on Tuesday, October 17th at 5:00pm in the Oxnard College Performing Arts Building (PAB). Parking is free in Lot “H” and no tickets are necessary. Find all of our livestreams and event information online at oxnardcollege/oclive.

Resilience Mural Dedication, Alumni Art Show & Art + Design Complex Ribbon Cutting
You are invited to join us on Thursday, August 24th as we celebrate what is NEW in Art at Oxnard College. The festivities begin at 4:00pm in the OC Amphitheater with the dedication of the "Resilience" Mural. Then join us at 4:30pm for the Ribbon Cutting of the new Art + Design Complex. Immediately following will be the Oxnard College Art Alumni Exhibition from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the McNish Gallery of Art. The exhibit will feature 22 talented OC alumni artists working in painting, sculpture, digital media and installation.
