I have been working with students as a counselor for over 20 years. My career has covered supporting community and technical colleges, universities, and high schools. After leaving SoCal, where I was born and raised, to develop student success programs for a couple of universities in Washington state I realized my heart was not fulfilled and started my path back to community college counseling. Now that I am back in SoCal, I look forward to sharing my knowledge of preparing and transitioning from high schools to community colleges and transferring to a university if that is the goal. I love helping students with the out-of-state and private university transfer process. Students learn that counseling is not just in my office, if you see me on campus and have a question, hit me up I got your back.
Personally, I love fly fishing and been flying around the world fishing the saltwater flats. So far my spouse and have fished Belize, Punta Allen in the Yucatan, and Christmas Island.
