Pre-Apprenticeships/Apprenticeships

Registered Apprenticeships

A registered apprenticeship involves full-time employment with a set educational path. For every year that an individual is in a registered apprenticeship program, they are required to work 2,000 hours and participate in 144 hours of formal education. The formal education can occur at your local community college or adult school.

There are over 3,000 federally approved occupations for registered apprenticeships and they all may be set up for incumbent workers already with your company or for new, entry-level trainees.
