4:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Join OC LIVE in celebrating Earth Day by watching “Kiss the Ground”, a ground-breaking film that reveals a viable solution to our climate crisis. Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring film that reveals by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Using compelling graphics and visuals (along with striking NASA and NOAA footage), the film artfully illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle.

The film will be shown at 4:30pm on Wednesday, April 20th, in Oxnard College’s Performing Arts Building. The screening will be followed by an inspirational short film by Prof. Danza and a panel discussion featuring Nicki Anderson, from Ventura County’s UC Cooperative Extension, and Adam Vega, farming and social justice advocate.

This is a FREE event (including parking) that is open to all. To request free ASL interpreting services, please email aedwards@vcccd.edu at least seven days prior to the event.
