Christina Hanna (she, her, ella) is thrilled to join the Oxnard College family as a Student Success and Support Specialist II. Christina’s passion for serving college students began when she was an undergraduate student at Florida International University, a large public Hispanic Serving Institution in Miami, Florida. She went on to pursue her graduate degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut and has worked at a variety of universities in the U.S. over the past decade. Christina’s most recent roles include serving as the Assistant Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct at California Lutheran University, a Resident Director at Semester at Sea, a Resident Director at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an English Language Teacher and School Coordinator in León, Guanajuato, México. Her passions include building community, advocating for social justice, spending time with her husband, 2 boys, and dog, and practicing yoga. She looks forward to seeing you on campus soon!
