What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment courses serve as a means for high school students to take college classes while still enrolled in high school. The classes taken count for both high school and college credit.

Through partnerships with local K-12 unified school districts, the three colleges of the VCCCD (Moorpark College, Oxnard, Ventura College) offer college courses at participating high schools that allow eligible students to earn both college and high school credit while meeting high school graduation requirements.

Why participate in Dual Enrollment?

The Dual Enrollment programs offered at all three VCCCD Colleges can serve as spring board for high school students looking to get a head start on college by earning both college and high school credit at little to no cost. In addition to saving time and money, dual enrollment courses also prepare students for the rigors of college level academics.
