Course Description
Provides students the opportunity to develop basic animal training techniques through hands-on work with animals at the teaching zoo. Emphasizes behavioral observations, development of training plans, maintenance of training records, and shaping the behavior of one or more animals. Prerequisites: ANCT M21A or concurrent enrollment, and ANCT M09 or ANSC M09 and ANCT M09L or ANSC M09L and ANCT M17 or ANSC M17. Transfer credit: CSU. Formerly: EATM M21AL.
