The Board of Trustees would like to hear complete and full student input to inform Board decisions. The Student Trustee will convene and chair STAC prior to each monthly Board of Trustees Meeting with Associated Student Leaders to:
discuss matters presented to the Board of Trustees;
identify critical issues relative to the college(s) to present to the Board of Trustees;
receive District governance committee reports;
receive member reports;
recommend surveys, focus groups, or town halls to receive student opinions;
annually review STAC membership and charge.
In the case of an emergency, the Student Trustee can convene a council meeting in addition to the monthly meeting.
Student Trustee, two Associated Student Representatives from each college (with the AS President having priority), one Resource Advisor (Student Activities Specialist or Chancellor Designee). Members may invite guests to provide comment. Students are also welcome to provide comment.
