Project Objectives & Notable Features:

The athletics field project replaced the existing grass field with artificial turf and the existing track with a composite materials surface for greater durabilility and safety.

The existing gymnasium will be renovated to create team rooms, replace the existing bleachers, and to enhance or modernize the existing 40-year old facility.

Implementation Strategy:

One architect was selected for athletics projects on all Ventura County Community College campuses to ensure consistency and to expedite both new and renovated interior, exterior, and athletics field work.
