How toy photographer Mitchel Wu built his business and brand through creativity, storytelling, and risk-taking
With a degree in illustration from the California College of the Arts, Mitchel spent much of his career working as a product designer for various companies, including The Walt Disney Company. Having sat on both sides of the table as both the hiring client and job-seeking freelancer, Mitchel developed a deeper understanding than most on how to get your foot in the door, and then not shoot yourself in that foot once inside. It was this combined experience that instilled in him the importance of offering both the highest levels of creativity and professionalism.
As a creative toy photographer, Mitchel has created images for The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros, EVA Airlines, Kinder Chocolate, Hasbro, Mattel, Moose Toys, Virgin Media and others. His work has been featured extensively in print, online and on television.
