Hi! My name is Jesús Vega, and I am a Dean of Student Services at Ventura College. I have worked in higher education for over 20 years helping students succeed in college. I have two offices where I can help answer any questions that you may have. One is in the Student Activities Office at Ventura College and at the East Campus in Santa Paula. I am a first-generation college student and graduate. Like you, I started at a community college (Oxnard College), and then I transferred to a university. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of California Irvine, a Master of Arts in Chicana/o Studies and Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from California State University Northridge. My office is always open to you. I look forward to meeting you and helping you during your time at Ventura College.
