9/3/13 - 1:35 pm: Battery at OC. Victim reported to Campus Police that suspects in classroom elbowed him with such force that he bumped the wall. However, no further action occurred. Report taken.

9/4/13 - 5:00 pm: Theft at OC gym. Victim came to Campus Police to report that he had locked his belongings in the men's locker room of the Oxnard College gym. Upon his return, his lock was missing, but his belongings were still there. Report taken.

9/4/13 - 7:25 pm: Late report of theft at OC gym. Victim came to Campus Police to report that unknown suspect(s) took his backpack on September 3rd. He was advised by his friends to go to Campus Police and file report. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

9/5/13 - 5:00 pm: Unlicensed driver at MC. During a traffic stop for speed violation, officer asked subject for driver's license, registration and insurance information. Driver was unable to provide officer with such. Upon contact with Dispatch, officer found out that driver had repeated violations for driving without a license. Driver was cited and released, and vehicle was impounded. Report taken.

9/6/13 - 11:30 am: Stolen cell phone from ASB lobby at MC. Victim reported to Campus Police that her cell phone was taken from a computer while she was in an office. Victim was able to track her phone via a computer and enlisted Ventura County Sheriff's Dept personnel to retrieve it, and a suspect was arrested for possessing stolen property. Report taken.

9/9/13 - 8:30 am: Theft from welding shop at VC. Employee contacted Campus Police to report unknown person(s) took a blue arc miller sometime between 9/5 and 9/6. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

9/9/13 - 9:20 am: Hit and run (misdemeanor) in AA-lot at MC. Victim came to Campus Police to report unknown vehicle struck her vehicle and fled without leaving any insurance or contact information. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

9/10/13 - 11:15 am: Battery (misdemeanor) at OC. Officer responded to report of male and female scuffling by the LRC. Officer contacted victim, who stated she initiated the fracas; however, video showed the male to be the offender. Suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to County Main Jail, where he was booked without incident. Report taken.

9/10/13 - 5:30 pm: Theft of catalytic converter at MC. Victim came to Campus Police to report unknown person(s) removed the catalytic converter from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses; report taken. 

9/10/13 - 8:45 pm: Graffiti at VC. Unknown suspect(s) used permanent marker to disfigure the 30-minute parking time limit signs in the W-lot. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

9/14/13 - 9:55 am: Fraudulent use of credit card at VC. Employee became suspicious when the VC bookstore received orders for books to be shipped out of state to the same address, but different credit cards were used. No suspects or witnesses. As this activity crosses state lines and is going through the Internet, report forwarded to FBI. Report taken.

9/17/13 - 12:06 pm: Disturbance at VC LCR. Disruptive individual, who had been barred from using the LCR computers, logged in, which alerted employees who then contacted Campus Police. Subject was contacted and escorted off premises; report taken.

9/19/13 - 7:00 pm: Hit & run (misdemeanor) at D-lot in OC. Victim came to Campus Police to report that unknown vehicle had struck her car and fled, leaving no information. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

9/20/13 - 12:30 pm: Arson at OC Cafe. Employee came to Campus Police to report an arson that had occurred at 12:05. She reported that she was working in the kitchen area when a student reported that a trash can in the dining area was on fire. The employee responded and by the time she reached the dining area, another student had already extinguished the fire with water. Report taken.

9/22/13 - 12:55 pm: Disturbance at VC Market Place. Officer responded to report of a traffic collision and disturbance in the Wright Event Center parking lot.  Victim reported that the driver of a large vehicle was attempting to park and struck his vehicle. Victim exited his vehicle to ascertain the amount of damage, and watched as vehicle struck another vehicle. Victim shouted to the driver that he had struck two vehicles, and the driver responded by leaving his vehicle armed with a hammer. The victim told the driver he was calling 9-1-1 and the driver got back into his car and left. Police were able to apprehend and cite the driver. Report taken.
