6/1/12 - 2:53 am: Theft of permit machine from CDC-lot at VC. Officer was notified by VPD that one of the District's parking permit machines had been recovered as stolen property off site. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.
6/02/12 - 9:50 am: Theft from vehicle in H-lot at OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report that unknown person(s) had removed her property from her locked vehicle. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.
6/3/12 - 8:45 am: Vandalism to vending machine at VC. Officer was advised by swap meet employee of vandalism to a vending machine located on the south side bottom floor of the Science Bldg. Upon investigation, officer found the front glass of the machine had been smashed. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
6/10/12 - 11:45 am: Theft from vehicle in H-lot at OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report that unknown person(s) removed a tool chest from his truck without permission. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
6/11/12 - 7:30 am: Attempted burglary at VC. Officer responded to notification by employee that unknown person(s) had broken a window in her office. Upon investigation, officer determined nothing was taken and the size of the window's opening probably deterred suspect from entering. Investigation continues; report taken.
6/11/12 - 1:00 pm: Theft from vehicle parked on Loma Vista above W-lot at VC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to advise his car had been broken into and property taken. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

6/17/12 - 8:30 am: Fire in vending machine at VC. Officer was contacted by employee of a fire that had burned in one of the vending machines, causing smoke to discolor the overhang under which the machine was located. Not enough information to determine whether the fire occurred due to faulty wiring, or was deliberately set; report taken.
6/17/12 - 12:35 pm: Misuse of handicapped placard at VC. Officer was checking handicapped placards in marked stalls when 2 females approached a vehicle. He requested license and registration; the vehicle came back registered to someone other than the 2 females. Driver was cited and released; placard seized as evidence.
6/20/12 - 9:40 am: Theft of phone from men's room in MCE bldg at VC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report he had left his phone on top of the paper towel dispenser in the men's room and walked out without it; when he returned, the phone was gone. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.
6/24/12 - 11:30 am: Misuse of handicapped placard at VC swap meet. Officer was on patrol when she observed people getting into a vehicle parked in a handicapped stall. Officer requested license and registration, and asked who the placard was issued to; the registrant was not with the driver. Driver was cited and released; placard seized as evidence.
