Please join the President's Office, the Student Voice, and the Associated Students as we celebrate Constitution Day 2017 on Monday, September 18th from noon to 1 p.m. on the Campus Quad.
In this era of divisive politics and when some of our own students are in peril of deportation, it's more important than ever to engage in conversation and civil discourse.
We invite everyone to come, encourage students to attend and bring their classes to Constitution Day and:
- Enjoy a free ice cream,
- Receive a free copy of the U.S. Constitution,
- Take the stage during a Free Speech Forum,
- Learn about Civic Engagement and the Constitution in remarks from President Luis Sanchez, J.D., and Public Defender's Office Attorney Ron Kodman.
The event concludes with a raffle and small give-aways.
