Weapons Policy

It is a serious violation of the law to possess a firearm or certain knives on District and college property. Section 626.9 of the California Penal Code makes it a felony to bring or to possess a firearm or certain knives on the grounds or within buildings of the VCCCD college campuses without the written permission of the president of the college or his/her designee.
