5/02/11 - 9:30 am: Disturbed subject at OC. Subject came into the Campus Police Station to report he had taken car keys away from his brother because subject thought brother was performing black magic on him. Subject taken to mental health facility for evaluation. Report taken.

5/02/11 - 12:45 pm: Disturbance between 2 students in W-lot at VC. Officer responded to report of a verbal argument between a male and pregnant female. Officer interviewed both parties and received conflicting stories. He advised both persons to stay away from each other. Male returned to the Campus Police Station shortly afterward to report female had threatened him. Report taken.

5/04/11 - 7:40 pm: Harassment at MC. Victim's father alerted Campus Police that daughter's ex-boyfriend was at MC and she was afraid to leave her class to go to her vehicle. Officers responded to classroom and contacted both victim and suspect. As suspect was not a student at MC, he was advised to leave the premises. Officers recommended to victim that she obtain a restraining order against suspect and escorted her to her vehicle. Report taken.

5/05/11 - 2:35 pm: Hit & run (misdemeanor) in A-lot at MC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report unknown vehicle had struck her vehicle and fled, causing moderate damage to right rear fender area. A witness had left a note on vehicle with license plate of suspect vehicle. Report taken; investigation continues.

5/06/11 - 6:30 pm: Theft of bicycle from bike rack outside of Library at OC. Victim reported to Campus Police that unknown person took his locked bicycle from the rack. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

5/07/11 - 12:15 pm: Petty theft from soccer field at OC. Victim reported to Campus Police that he had set a bag containing his wallet behind the bench of the #2 Soccer Field; when he returned for it, the bag was missing. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

5/08/11 - 4:00 pm: Injury to child at OC Swap Meet. Officer responded to report of child whose foot had been run over by a small trailer towed by a golf cart. Officer examined child's foot, and found a small laceration. Officer determined child was not in pain, was able to walk, and he spoke with child's father, who declined medical attention. Report taken.

5/09/11 - 6:00 pm: Theft from car parked on Loma Vista Road. Victim reported to Campus  Police that unknown person(s) entered his vehicle without permission and took his backpack. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

5/10/11 - 7:00 pm: Fight in LLR bldg. at MC. Officers responded to report of two individuals fighting, with a third individual attempting to stop the fight. Officers questioned the individuals, and submitted their names to Dean of Student Discipline for further follow-up. One subject, who was uncooperative with the officer during the interview, was suspended for 7 days. Report taken.

5/10/11 - 7:00 pm: Medical emergency in W-lot at VC. Officer responded to report of male individual who was feeling very ill; he was nauseous, had no chest pains but was running a fever and unable to drive. Officer requested ambulance and victim was transported to hospital for further evaluation.

5/11/11 - 6:55 pm: Dispute at VC Bookstore. Employee contacted Campus Police reference a student worker who was being argumentive and refusing to obey orders. Officer interviewed both subjects; both parties will meet with Bookstore Manager to resolve their issues. Report taken.

5/11/11 - 11:00 am: Petty theft from M&O truck at MC. Employee reported theft of line trimmer from his truck while he was on a break. No suspects or witnesses. Report taken.

5/12/11 - 9:00 am: Attempted theft from employee's office in FH bldg at MC. Employee called Campus Police to advise he had confronted 2 male suspects in his office with their arms full of books. He told them to put down the books and leave the office. Investigation continues; report taken.

5/12/11 - 5:00 pm: Theft of bicycle from bike rack on east side of LRC at VC. Victim locked bicycle in bike rack; when he returned, bike had been taken (including chain.) No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

5/13/11 - 9:00 am: Petty theft from vehicle parked on Rose Avenue near OC. Victim notified officer on patrol that she left her purse in her vehicle, and unknown person(s) entered vehicle without permission and took it. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

5/13/11 - 8:00 am: Grafitti at OC Bookstore and multiple sites. Unknown suspect(s) used blue and black spray paint to write the word SHELLS on the OC bookstore, and illegible markings on various other buildings and police vehicles. Investigation continues.

5/16/11 - 9:00 am: Petty theft from vehicle parked in W-lot at VC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report unknown person entered his unlocked vehicle without permission and stole his property. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

5/18/11 - 9:15 am: Theft from truck in W-lot at VC. Victim reported to Campus Police that the tailgate from his truck had been stolen while he was attending the graduation ceremony. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

 5/26/11 - 5:25 pm: Petty theft from refrigerator in Dental Hygiene bldg at OC. Victim notified Campus Police that food had been removed without permission from the subject location. Victim further stated that various items, such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, had also been missing. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

5/29/11 - 12:20 pm: Public nuisance at OC. Officer observed suspect urinating in public, near heavy foot and vehicle traffic area. Suspect was cited and released. Report taken.

5/31/11 - Police received late report of an assault that occurred several weeks prior. Victim contacted police by phone and stated she was on campus with a friend to register for classes. He convinced her to go into an empty classroom, where she was assaulted. She was able to convince him to stop, and they left campus together. She later decided to report the crime. Police investigation continues; report taken.
