7/02/13 - 10:30 am: Theft of bicycle from outside of classroom at OC. Victim reported parking his bike outside of the classroom and upon returning, found it gone. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

7/03/13 - 4:00 pm: Theft of bicycle from 1st floor of LRC near VC. Victim reported to Campus Police that her unsecured bicycle was taken from LRC. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

7/03/13 - 10:15 pm: Domestic dispute in LRC at VC. Officer responded to report of disturbance in LRC. Upon arrival, he found victim, who reported that her ex-boyfriend had appeared and was wanting to talk about their break-up. When she refused to discuss it with him, he grabbed her property and refused to return it unless they discussed the breakup. Suspect fled upon arrival of officer. Report taken.

7/06/13 - 2:00 pm: Vehicle burglary-car parked on Telegraph Rd near VC. Unknown suspect(s) entered vehicle by unknown means and removed victim's property. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

7/06/13 - 2:30 pm: Hit & run (misdemeanor) on S. Campus Way at VC. Victim reported that unknown vehicle struck her vehicle and fled, causing minor damage and leaving no note or information behind. No suspects or witnesses; report taken.

7/08/13 - 9:30 am: Hit & run (misdemeanor) in A-lot at MC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report that unknown vehicle had struck his car and fled, without leaving information; however, an anonymous witness left a license plate and description of the vehicle. Officers found and interviewed suspect, who was advised that it is required by law to leave contact information when a traffic collision occurs. Report taken.

7/08/13 - 10:00 am: Vandalism to vehicle at VC. Victim hailed officer in front of Campus Police Station to report that unknown suspect(s) had spray-painted obscene images on his vehicle with pink paint. No witnesses or suspects; review of camera footage revealed the car had been vandalized off campus. Report taken.

7/10/13 - 1:00 pm: False registration tabs on vehicle parked near VC. While on patrol, officer noticed a vehicle that he recognized from prior contacts. Upon contacting Dispatch, officer determined that the registration tabs belonged to another vehicle. Investigation continues; report taken.

7/10/13 - 5:00 pm: Children left unattended at OC. Parent came to Campus Police to report that his sons' mother had left their young sons in the lobby area of the gym while she took a class. The children reported an officer had stopped by and greeted them. Report taken.

7/14/13 - 1:30 pm: Petty theft in D-lot at OC. Officers responded to report of theft from parking lot D. Victim stated she had set property down to assist her son, then walked away without property. When she realized it was missing, she went back to get it, but the property had been taken. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.

7/17/13 - 10:00 am: Warrant arrest at VC. Subject came to Campus Police and advised he heard that the Campus Police had been seeking him. Record check confirmed subject had an active warrant. Subject was subsequently arrested and taken to County Main Jail, where he was booked without incident. Report taken.

7/17/13 - 10:40 am: Theft of bicycle at OC. Victim came to Campus Police Station to report unknown suspect took his bicycle from its location in the M&O shed. Cameras revealed a male suspect took bicycle and rode off on it. Investigation continues; report taken.

7/20/13 - 10:20 pm: Vandalism of vending machines at VC. Officers responded to report made by employee Monday morning of two vending machines located in front of the gym entry doors appearing to have been vandalized. One machine had major damage and the other only minor damage. Review of video revealed two suspects, who had attempted to vandalize other vending machines on campus. Investigation continues. Report taken.

7/24/13 - 10:00 am: Arrest at VC. While on patrol, officer noticed suspicious subject walking along street and looking into vehicles. After contacting suspect, it was determined he had a warrant. Officers arrested suspect and booked him into County Main Jail without further incident. Report taken.

7/24/13 - 3:30 pm: Sexual assault between juveniles during summer camp at VC. Officers responded to report of a juvenile that sexually assaulted another juvenile during basketball camp. Investigation continues; report taken.

7/25/13 - 8:45 am: Possible tampering with bicycle at OC. Victim came to Campus Police to report that unknown person(s) had possibly tampered with the brake cord of her bicycle. No suspects or witnesses; report taken. 

7/26/13 - 11:00 am: Burglary of snack shed in west field at VC. Employee reported that unknown suspect(s) used forcible entry to gain access to interior of shed and take property. No witnesses or suspects; report taken.
