In 2008 the District will begin implementation of the Luminis Portal from SunGardHE. This project website will provide you with information, links, and resources to participate in this important implementation.

How will the Luminis Portal benefit the District?
| Our primary benefits from the Portal will be Reduced or Single Sign-On, Targeted Communications, and a Unified Development Platform. When the new portal is made available to staff, students and faculty, we expect that after logging in users will see an environment branded with their home campus identity containing personalized announcements and messages, and access to all the current webSTAR functions, such as registration, transcripts, class rosters, etc. Additional functionality, such as streamlined access to the Library, Blackboard, PeopleAdmin and other resources will be planned in the months following our initial implementation. |
