Accessing Your Courses
Performing a System Check
- Go to MyVCCCD.
- Enter your Username and Password. (If you do not know this information, use the Forgot Username? and Forgot Password? links).
- Click the Login button.
- Click the My Courses button in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Click the D2L System Check link on the left side of the screen.
- A pop-up window will display the results of the system check.
- If all checks passed, close the pop-up window, and proceed with the login instructions.
- If any checks failed, use the provided information to fix the problem(s), and run the check again until all checks pass. Then proceed to login.

Logging In
- After completing the System Check, do one of the following:
- Click on the name of the course to enter the Course Home page directly.
(Note: If you don't see your courses for the current semester, confirm that the "Course Schedule for:" drop-down menu is displaying the correct term). - Click on the D2L Homepage link on the left side of the screen. This will take you to the Desire2Learn My Home page. In the My Courses widget, click on the name of the course to enter the Course Home page.
- Click on the name of the course to enter the Course Home page directly.
- Read the Syllabus and any welcome information that your instructor has posted.
