Workflow channels

With chrome web browser:  Workflow channels never finish loading.   Work-around: use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
IE and Firefox: sometimes a link is displayed with a message about a resource that has been moved.  Simply click the link to display workflow.

Active Directory Sync

Some staff that changed their portal password in the last month may have their AD/Exchange password different than the portal password. This issue has been resolved going forward. Staff that have passwords out of sync with Active Directory can change their portal password to fix this. 8/14/2015 Resolved-

Important things to know:

  • IMPORTANTEmail address  -  upon first login to the newly upgraded portal, you will be prompted for a 3rd party (non-college) email address.  The address you enter will be used only if you forget your portal password and need to reset it. 
  • Sharepoint - currently all logins into sharepoint resources ( HR Tools, Business Tools, Bookshelf, etc.) will require an additional login using your portal credentials.  Enter your username in the following format: AD\username.
  • SSB/Banner:  upon accessing SSB (registration, rosters, etc.) or banner for the first time, you will be prompted for your portal credentials.
  • Groups - groups are no longer available.  A replacement for this will be announced soon.
  • Bookmarks - Bookmarks from the bookmarks channel were not migrated to the upgraded portal.
  • Portal layout - The customized portal layout feature is currently disabled.   "MyTab": has been discontinued and is no longer available.  
  • "Banner Testing"-  this tab has been relocated and is accessible via a link in the "My Applications" channel on the "Work Life" tab.
