Pay Frequency for Short-Term Classes - August 28, 2018
- CalSTRS rules require that faculty receive pay in each month of a class that they are teaching, or the compensation for the entire class is not pensionable. Short-term classes that started after the 15th of the month have historically paid the first check the following month. Under CalSTRS rules, this cannot occur. We have agreed to an Agreement modification to make sure that faculty receive pay for every month they are assigned a short-term class.
