District Accreditation Coordination Workgroup

Description:
The District Accreditation Coordination Workgroup (DACW) is a Chancellor's advisory group that serves as a District-wide knowledge-sharing group for accreditation purposes.  The DACW is responsible for reviewing existing and planned processes and procedures for accreditation preparation at each college and the District Administrative Center.  The Chancellor holds the DACW accountable for ensuring best practices have been reviewed and considered for application throughout the District.  In addition, the DACW may review and provide recommendations regarding the interpretation of accreditation standards and related program evidence and documentation.  The DACW will also develop District-wide functional mapping.  The Chancellor appoints a staff member to serve as his representative and co-chair of this workgroup.
