NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CALLING FOR BIDS
PROJECT # 19115: ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE -SWITCHGEAR
MOORPARK COLLEGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above-named California Community College District, acting by and through its Board of Trustees, hereinafter referred to as “the District” will receive up to, but not later than 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2006 sealed bid proposals for the award of a contract for: Project #19115: Electrical Infrastructure – Switchgear at Moorpark College.
Bid proposals must conform with, and be responsive to, the Bid and Contract Documents, copies of which may be obtained from CyberCopy 3020 Sherwin Ave., Suite D, Ventura, CA 93003 (805) 642-3292.
All Bid Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the District within the Bid documents. Bids shall be received at Ventura County Community College District, 333 Skyway Dr., Camarillo, CA 93010, Attn: Purchasing Department. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by: (a) the required Bid Security; and (b) Non-Collusion Affidavit. Bids will be opened and publicly read at the stated time and place.
A mandatory Job-Walk will begin at: 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 21, 2006 Bidders are to meet and register at the Ventura County Community College District office, 333 Skyway Drive, Camarillo, CA 93010. (805) 384-8317
Any Bidder shall not withdraw bid Proposals for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening of Bid Proposals. During this time, all Bidders shall guarantee prices quoted in their respective Bid Proposals.
In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code §22300, substitution of eligible and equivalent securities for any monies to ensure performance under the Contract will be permitted at the request and expense of the Supplier.
All work must be completed no later than One Hundred Five (105) Calendar Days.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding.
